FIELD: weapons and ammunition.

SUBSTANCE: shell comprising a warhead, a rocket unit and a stabiliser. The warhead is equipped with an underwater projectile, a mechanism to separate a warhead with a remote device, a parachute, a buoy with a buoy rope, a gas generator, a device of projectile embedding and a mechanism of self-destruction. The underwater projectile is equipped with an explosive charge and a non-contact system of target detection. The non-contact system of target detection operates in passive mode for primary target detection and in active mode for its attacking.

EFFECT: invention makes it possible to act for quite a long time in the area of proposed location of an underwater target and to attack the underwater target from top.
