FIELD: weapons and ammunition.
SUBSTANCE: ammunition applies a charge made of a liquid oxidant and a highly porous composite placed in two chambers separated with a perforated membrane. A reservoir with a liquid oxidant is placed into one of chambers, and a composition of a highly porous composite is placed into the other. Development of an active explosive is done in the ammunition by saturation of the highly porous composite with the liquid oxidant directly prior to deployment. On completion of the mixing process an electric signal is sent to explode the ammunition. During actuation of an electric detonator, a bursting charge detonates, which causes detonation of the main charge active substance. At the same time high-temperature area is produced, which generates intensive optical radiation and intense air impact wave.
EFFECT: higher parameters of impact factors and reduced explosion hazard of ammunition in worth-case situations.
