FIELD: physics.

SUBSTANCE: range finder receiver comprises photo receiver and receiving optical system. Range finder transmitter comprises first solid-state laser and lens with inclined mirror arranged there between to reflect first laser emission toward said lens, and second solid-stage laser. Second laser output beam passes through inclined mirror toward the lens parallel with first laser beam. Lens optical axis is parallel with receiver axis. Said lasers feature different wavelength of emission. Lasers' emitting sites are located on kens optical axis in lens focal plane. Laser emitting transition images created by lens in slot plane overlap preset cross section of said slot with minimum width of dark gaps. Said dark gap between images proximate to range finder optical axis does not exceed minimum angular sizes of preset small-size target. Inclined mirror represents a spectrum-dividing coat second laser emission radiolucent and reflecting emission of first laser. Difference in wavelengths of lasers exceeds interval between spectral transmission and reflection zones of said spectrum-dividing coat. Receiving lens is radiolucent for both lasers. Photo receiver receives emission on both wavelengths.

EFFECT: increased range, smaller sizes.
