SUBSTANCE: specimen loading is performed at constant speed. The number of pulses of electromagnetic emission is recorded in time from the beginning of loading to complete destruction of specimen, and kinetic constants of strength and lifetime of material are determined as per the measured parameters. Constant temperature is maintained during the specimen tests; at that, loading is performed only at the increasing load.
EFFECT: improving accuracy and reducing working hours for lifetime determination.
