SUBSTANCE: in one version of the invention, the method involves fitting a seismic vibration generator in a first well and a seismic detector in a second well to detect a seismic event caused by the vibration generator. The method involves connection of clock-pulse generators in the vibration generator and the receiver to a common time reference system and determining time in the time reference system at which the seismic vibration generator generates a seismic event.
EFFECT: accurate indication of the time origin for each seismic event; controlling logging tools when drilling a well and controlling commands and information directed from the surface through seismic signals or by using special surface controlled drilling processes.
