SUBSTANCE: camera captures image of hands opposite to the background, the image is segmented on the hands area and background area, various gestures of hands and fingers isolate background parts into independent areas, which then assign control parameters for manipulation of display images. Several control parameters may be associated with attributes of several independent areas formed by two hands, for expanded control including simultaneous functions of clicking, selection, completion, horizontal displacement, vertical displacement, scrolling, dragging, rotation, changing scale, maximising, minimising, performing operation functions with files and making a selection in the menu.
EFFECT: higher accuracy of detection and tracking gestures and movements of hands.
