SUBSTANCE: invention relates to rendering of a visual representation of a user. A method for applying animation for visual representation based on data indicative of a user's temperament to a visual representation comprises: rendering the visual representation of a user; receiving data indicative of the user in a physical space; analysing said data indicative of the user in the physical space to deduce the user's emotion and temperament; determining a pre-existing animation of the visual representation to display based on the deduced emotion and temperament; and displaying the pre-existing animation for the visual representation on a display device.
EFFECT: providing visual representation indicative of the emotion and position of a user.
