FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely traumatology and orthopaedics and is intended for treating intra-articular heel bone fractures. The bone fragments are reduced by introducing a standard 6.5 mm screw rod or a Schanz screw. The rod is introduced from a calcaneal tuber through a heel bone to its anterior area towards a plane parallel to a talocalcaneal joint. Fixation is carried out by cannulated screws introduced in a compression mode.
EFFECT: method provides creating a reliable fixation, compression of bone fragments, reduction of a risk of soft tissue inflammation due to application of external osteosynthesis, the absence of joint fixation and external fixators.
