FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to device for thermal cutting of metal materials. Proposed device consists of head, assemblies to feed heating oxygen, cutting oxygen and liquid fuel, coupling nut and bush. Tip has axial lengthwise channel connected to cutting oxygen feed assembly. Tip cylindrical section is provided with lengthwise grooves. Identical grooves are made on tip outlet taper section outer surface. Cap has tapered axial bore and is fitted without clearance in tip outlet taper section and secured by bush and coupling nut. Cap outer surface is provided with groove to make ledge between said groove and base of tip taper section inlet. Said ledge has grooves made perpendicular to ledge lengthwise axis. Said grooves feature depth smaller than that of cap groove and width two times smaller than that of tip lengthwise grooves, their number being equal to that of lengthwise grooves on tip.
EFFECT: simplified feed of fuel, higher reliability and safety.
