SUBSTANCE: device includes housing and matrix divided with flushing slots of variable cross section into working sectors reinforced with diamond elements. The bit is provided with additional radial flushing slots having the height which is bigger than slots of variable cross section and located between flushing slots of variable cross section and leading edge of adjacent sectors. The outlet part of additional flushing slots is offset relative to outlet part of the main flushing slots to the side opposite to the bottomhole.

EFFECT: increasing the operating efficiency of the bit; reducing the power consumption of rock destruction process.
