FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to self-closing vent insert for textile articles, shoes or the line, made up of two ventile layers, absorption layer arranged between aforesaid layers, coat over ventile layers, and at least one protective element. Absorbent laid in vent insert chambers swells on absorbing moisture to close said chambers thus rendering them air- and watertight. With said insert dried, chamber open to become ventile elements. Invention covers also method of producing aforesaid insert by injection moulding.
EFFECT: proposed vent insert may be used in production of clothes and technical items.
