FIELD: transport.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to machine building and may be used for control over dynamic characteristics brought about in turn of crane boom with cargo. Proposed method consists in processing signals of transducers that control position of crane moving equipment and its load and cutting of mechanisms drives in correspondence with motion limitations and overload conditions. Displacement speed selection signals and conditions are generated depending upon crane load. Tolerable overturn moment is calculated for every crane radius to be entered in onboard microprocessor memory. Cable tension is measured to define current overturn moment to be compared with tolerance for given crane radius. Said data is displayed on video panel. Operator may vary recommended parameters. When current overturn moment approximates to maximum tolerable magnitude, control system automatically changes speed to allow operator to change motion parameters. In case tolerable overturn moment is exceeded, motion is stopped. Further operation is to be performed only in recommended conditions.

EFFECT: higher safety of cargo handling.
