FIELD: transport.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to carrying and lifting machine building. The method includes setting permissible deviation of lift rope falls from vertical position, action on crane controls to start and switch off drives of mechanisms moving crane equipment, load measuring and angular displacement of jib in vertical plane to support lift rope falls in vertical position. Permissible deviation of lift rope falls is set and stored as value of radius permissible deviation. Before switching on lifting mechanism of load-handling device, initial value of radius is determined and stored based on design parameters of crane and measured values of roll, load and boom angle. During load lifting, current value of radius and its limits are determined. Current value of radius is compared with limit values and when the limit value is reached the lifting mechanism of load-handling device is switched off and radius changing mechanism is switched on to perform radius angular motion in the direction of opposite limit of permissible values of radius, and when the current value of radius reaches opposite limit the radius changing mechanism is switched off and the lifting mechanism of load-handling device is switched on. The system contains crane mechanisms controls, control-computing device, crane mechanisms control signals generator, switch for swinging-free load lifting mode, load sensor, radius tilt sensor and roll sensor.

EFFECT: invention provides higher safety of jib crane operation and higher reliability of control system.
