FIELD: electrical communication engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to receiving the bits of positive acknowledgment of hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ-ACK) requests by a base station in a communication system. To this end, a plurality of cells for user equipment (UE) are configured, wherein each of said plurality of cells is associated with one transmission mode, encoded concatenated HARQ-ACK bits are received from the UE using PUSCH for said plurality of cells, the encoded concatenated HARQ-ACK bits are decoded, wherein the HARQ-ACK bits for said plurality of cells are concatenated based on the order of the cell index for each of said plurality of cells, and the concatenated HARQ-ACK bits include two HARQ-ACK bits for a cell associated with a transmission mode supporting up to two transport blocks and one HARQ-ACK bit for a cell associated with a transmission mode supporting up to one transport block.

EFFECT: technical result is supporting transmission of HARQ-ACK information on a physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH) in response to receiving a transport block from UE.
