FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention is referred to the area of medicine and can be used for diagnostics of patients with epilepsy. The patient is sequentially given four inventories: numeric corrective probe, where the number of digits is counted with the number of errors, method of 10 words memorizing, where the number of reproduced words in 5 presentations is counted, visual retention test - Benton test and MMPI - Minnesota Multiphase Personality Inventory. The hidden and initial personality alteration is measured using single unified indicator of presence of hidden personality alterations in patients with epilepsy (PSLIBE) which is an arithmetic mean value by the results of four inventories. PSLIBE value in the range from 230 to 240 signifies the presence of hidden and initial personality alterations.
EFFECT: allows the possibility of diagnostics of hidden and initial personality alterations in patients with epilepsy in initial disease period.
