FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention is referred to the field of medicine, namely to the ophthalmosurgery. Intraocular lens (IOL) contains optical and supporting part. Frontal surface of optical part is made in shape of convex segment of Cartesian spheroid surface. The cone constant of Cartesian spheroid surface is -0.53. Rear surface of optical part is made in shape of convex segment of spherical hyperboloid with the concavity directed against frontal surface of optical part. On the haptic part there are markers in form of straight lines the directions of which match the directions of large axis of spheroid segment.
EFFECT: use of the invention provides for minimization of spherical aberrations optical system “cornea-IOL”, increased image quality, provides multifocality.
