FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, more specifically ophthalmosurgery. An intraocular lens comprises an optic portion and a support element. An anterior surface of the optic portion represents a convex segment generated by rotating a curvilinear witch of Agnesi about its symmetry axis. A posterior surface of the optic portion is flat. Markers in the form of straights are made on the support element. The direction of said straights coincides with that of the greater axis of the witch of Agnesi.
EFFECT: invention provides multifocality, decreases spherical aberration of the optic system 'cornea-IOL', improves quality of images.
