FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely ophthalmosurgery. A given device comprises an optic portion and a support element. An anterior surface of the optic portion represents a convex segment of a Cartesian ellipsoid surface with a conic constant of the Cartesian ellipsoid being equal to 0.53. A posterior surface of the optic portion is flat. Markers in the form of straights are made on the support element. The direction of said straights coincides with that of the greater axis of the elliptic segment.
EFFECT: use of the invention enables dropping spherical aberration of the optic system 'cornea-IOL' to zero, improving quality of images and extending the range of IOLs.
