FIELD: mineral processing.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to mineral processing, particularly to column flotation constructions which can be used in mineral material processing containing non-ferrous, ferrous, rare, noble and non-metal materials. Flotation machine includes body consisting of widened upper part and bottom part, central tube, located in the widened part of the body, foam collector, feeding, aerating and discharge devices. Foam collector is located concentrically in the upper widened part of body and made in the form of circular groove formed from the outside by the outer diameter of central tube and from other side - by the generator line of foam collector, outer diameter of which is defined according to the formula
Douter of foam.=k1·dinner of foam
where:
Douter of foam - outer diameter of foam collector, m;
k1 - empirical coefficient to define the outer diameter of foam collector; from 1.30 to 1.50 depending on the type of material flotated;
dinner of foam - internal diameter of foam collector, m; defined according to the formula:
dinner of foam= dcentr.tube=dbottom body= k2·Q;
dcentr.tube - diameter of central tube, m;
dbottom body - diameter of the bottom body part, m;
Q - specified productivity of the machine on raw product, t/h;
k2 - empirical coefficient to define the outer diameter of foam collector, central pipe diameter and bottom body part diameter; from 0.005 to 0.008.
EFFECT: increase of flotation machine effectiveness.
