FIELD: thread production.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to mechanic cleaning of threaded pipe ends from lubrication and can be used during incoming inspection of thread accuracy. The method consists in pressing of cleaning unit to the surface under cleaning and ensures reverse rotation of the item with end sensors. At this the cleaning instrument makes reciprocate movement along the thread pressing out the lubrication from one or the other side of cleaning instrument. The pressed out lubrication is deleted by suction mechanism and fed into the collection chamber and then used for reconservation of the pipe. The device includes cleaning instrument located on the moving lever installed on the console and mechanism of cleaning mechanism pressing to the item and the rotation drive of the item. The device has a stack (4) fixed by hinge at the console (3). At this the cleaning tool is made of polyurethane as a comb teeth of which correspond to the thread profile. The working surface is made having curve radius equal to item radius. The lever (2) is made as a duct connected with suction mechanism and collection chamber. The pressing mechanism is made as a pneumatic cylinder. The rotation drive is made in the form of reverse rotator connected to the end sensors.

EFFECT: increased effectiveness of the cleaning mechanism of thread lubrication and possibility to use deleted lubrication for further conservation of thread.
