FIELD: production control.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to the assessment method of mechanic properties of the steel sheet on the actual data of rolling in the temper mill and provision of assessment results to the consumer and use of such information. The essence is the following: ultimate yield strength of sheet steel, rolled in the temper mill is assessed on the basis of actual data of rolling with percentage elongation of 2.0% or less in the temper mill installed in the outlet of continuous annealing line or galvanizing machine. The data on ultimate yield strength assessed are then provided to the consumer of sheet steel through computer and networks. These data are received on the basis of yield point stress of tempering and using correlation connection between the yield point stress and ultimate yield strength. The consumer can use the data on material properties to eliminate parts with unsatisfactory mechanic properties or change the rolling parameters of sheet steel. Moreover, the consumer can forward information to the producers of sheet steel through the follow-up channel.
EFFECT: possibility to receive information on the shipped sheet steel with lower cost and efforts, possibility to provide this information to the customer so that the customer could use this information.
