FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to the technology of electrochemical production, namely to electrolyzers construction. Technical result is high explosion safety, convenience and ease of operation. According to the invention the electrolyser contains cylindrical anode, cylinder-cathode, fixed by the butt ends in anode cavity by upper and lower perforated dielectric plugs, spray diffuser nipple for pump supply and nozzle spraying of electrolyte from the tank to the anode cavity, bottom part of which is connected to the tank with down-flow pipe, and upper part of the anode cavity outfitted with spray separator and fumes disposal tube. Anode and cathode are separated by the diaphragm, fixed by the butt ends between them by upper and lower perforated dielectric plugs. Upper plug separates the part of anode cavity above it into cathode and anode part with separate spray separator and fumes disposal tube for each part.
EFFECT: spray diffuser nipple is manufactured with possibility of portioning unit-controlled supply and spraying of electrolyte vertically up from the lower plug into cylinder-cathode.
