FIELD: efficiency evaluation of ammunition destructive power.

SUBSTANCE: according to the method, the operational efficiency evaluation of ammunition destructive power consists of: highlighting zones, which have various vulnerabilities to ammunition physical factors, on the tested site plan; simulation of the site bombardment with a certain amount of ammunition, derivation of the relative pattern damage function of the site and calculation of the efficiency value of ammunition destructive power for the tested site. During tests the value of ammunition destructive power is measured and connections between the said values and the physical factors of ammunition along with technical characteristics of the tested site are specified within the lowest possible number of tests. The device for the operational efficiency evaluation of ammunition destructive power comprises a projectile launch unit, a boresighting tube and the tested site. The output of the projectile launch unit is optically connected with the projectile impact point on the tested site and the formation coordinates of the ammunition physical factors. The device includes the first and the second non-contact sensory units, transmitter unit, the ammunition destructive power measurement and efficiency evaluation unit which comprises the first and the second versatile control points and a computer connected consequently. Furthermore, the n-input of the first and the second non-contact sensory units are optically connected with the projectile flight coordinates before and after its explosion, and the outputs are connected with the n-inputs of the first versatile control point through the transmitter unit.
