FIELD: material science.
SUBSTANCE: method for aluminium alloy structure inspection comprises an elementary analysis of the sample with the use of emission-spectral method, thermal treatment of the sample for 2-24 hours with a temperature equal to 80-95% of the sample melting temperature, air cooling of the said sample down to ambient temperature, another analysis of the sample with the use of emission-spectral method, comparison of the amount value for each element of the alloy in the initial sample with the corresponding value of the same element in the sample after thermal treatment, analysis of the compared values which leads to the conclusion concerning the structural change in the sample and the elements which facilitate the said structural change.
EFFECT: possibility to inspect aluminium alloy structure using the emission-spectral method.
