FIELD: physics.

SUBSTANCE: this method is used for manual ultrasonic control of quality blanks in the form of the body of rotation from their end face. Essence of the method is that during manual ultrasonic control of the quality of cylindrical details which high isn't exceed their diameter, from their end face forced scanning of irradiator and receiver of ultrasonic vibrations running on Archmed's spiral trajectory; after that determine the defect's presence in control object material with flaw detection equipment and register defects on the surface of the object.

EFFECT: providing the possibility of excluding a complex and cumbersome scanning system during ultrasonic control of blanks in the form of the body of rotation, while maintaining high accuracy and reliability of control.
