FIELD: cooling systems.
SUBSTANCE: this innovation relates to methods and devices of cooling, in particular cooling in the field of information technologies, for example cooling of information technologies servers; provision of application of volatile fluids such as carbon dioxide, an electrically congenial matter, which can be safely applied to the above purpose despite high pressure (more than 50 bars for carbon dioxide) which is necessary for securing sufficient cooling; this is attained by the fact that the computer equipment cooling device contains the primary heat transfer circuit, the secondary heat transfer circuit containing the secondary liquid heat transfer medium, the secondary cooler chilled by the primary heat transfer circuit and the secondary evaporator for cooling the computer equipment; it is additionally characterized by the fact that the secondary liquid heat transfer medium is a volatile fluid matter; the secondary liquid heat transfer medium is possible to be carbon dioxide; the cooling system is especially useful for energy-intensive applications such as cooling computer servers, in particular cell servers as it is able to execute dissipation of the heat load up to 100 kW in comparison with 10 kW when using the traditional cooling systems; there have been invented new heat-exchanging units, air-conditioning systems and construction elements using the secondary heat transferring liquid medium which is a volatile fluid matter.
EFFECT: provision of application of a different from air coolant medium in the secondary cooling circuit of the IT-equipment with high superabundance of heat.
