FIELD: cooling devices.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a device for cooling instrument and network cabinets, server cabinets in particular, wherein cooling fans are integrated into a door. Said cooling fan door covers in its closed position an access area on the rear side of the cabinet, whereon an air-to-fluid heat exchanger is fixed being longwise adjacent to the cooling fan door and covering the remaining part of the cabinet rear side, whereto said cooling fan door is articulated. Waste heat transferred by the heat exchanger to cooling fluid, cold water in particular, is rejected outside the room where the cabinet is installed via a water supply network. Rigid connection pipes made of a gas-barrier material can be used to connect the heat exchangers of separate cabinets with the water supply network of the building.
EFFECT: design simplification, provided access to the mounting space and increased efficiency of heat rejection.
