FIELD: electrical equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the plug, in particular to the multipolar plug of the electrical connector for several stranded shielded cables (10), their lines are electro-conductively connected to the contacts of the contact plate (6), their cable shields electro-conductively connected to the shielding conducting element (8), at that the contact plate (6) and the shielding conductive element (8) are located in the housing at a special distance from each other, at that the shielding element (8) is electrically connected with the earth clamp of the plug; in accordance with the invention there are two shielding gang-mounted clips (30, 32) applied as the shielding element (8) and made to form the reception area (36) of the cable clamps (34) clamped between the shielding clips (30, 32); so this plug can accommodate the contact plate (6) with a multitude of polar pairs, at that its housing (2) preserves its prior dimension.
EFFECT: enlargement of the shielding element without alteration of the dimension of the plug.
