SUBSTANCE: method performed by a single-turn cutter head and includes the gradual radial infeed cut-in for total depth of the tooth; for the optimal flow of the process of the final formation of the toothed ring of the cut cylinder escape wheel the radial infeed within each stage is performed with alternating monotonously increasing speed which is changed from the zero value to S1 = 0,124 Smax within the the first stage and from S1 to S2 = 0,594 Smax within the second stage and from S2 to Smax within the third stage.
EFFECT: enhancement of the efficiency of the method of cylinder escape wheel tooth cutting.
