FIELD: wood surface overprinting technologies.
SUBSTANCE: method of production of elements with the replicated natural wood-type surfaces which is printed over with the jet printer to the effect that its external appearance would replicate the appearance of the original material with curly grains and porousness of a certain specified kind of wood and the specified coating; the method includes the following stages: production of the original, input of the original data regarding the appearance of its surface to the system of data electronic processing; apart from that the method includes production of elements with the surface from the industrial wood with the porousness analogical to the porousness of the specified kind of wood and overprinting the surface of the industrial wood with the jet printing method in accordance with the original data at least partially preserving the bulk structure of the surface of the industrial wood created by the porousness.
EFFECT: enhancement of the similarity of the received industrial wood surface with the fine-wood surface.
