FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to welding, particularly, to composition of welding wire for welding and building up of articles operated at high alternating-sign loads and temperatures and may be used in building up of the first layer of carbon and low-alloyed steel edges for making welded joints with austenitic steels, mainly, on producing welded structures for nuclear power engineering. Proposed wire comprises carbon, silicon, manganese, phosphorus, sulfur, copper, nickel, cobalt, nitrogen, tin, stibium and iron in the following ratio, in wt %: carbon - 0.012 -0.02, silicon - 0.40 - 0.65, manganese - 0.90 - 2.0, chromium - 23.0 - 25.0, nickel - 12.0 -14.0, sulfur - not over 0.01, phosphorus - not over 0.015, copper - not over 0.1, tin - not over 0.005, antimony - not over 0.005, cobalt - not over 0.05, nitrogen - not over 0.05, iron making the rest. Proposed wire allows obtaining two-phase austenitic-ferrite structure of build-up metal with content of ferrite phase making 5-10%.
EFFECT: optimum physical and mechanical properties of welded joint metal.
