FIELD: transport.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to oxygen supply and method of generating oxygen-enriched air from aircraft passenger cabin air. Proposed system comprises modular cabin unit 1 with oxygen inlet 7 and decentralised oxygen feed unit 2 with hydrogen outlet 13. Note here that said decentralised unit 2 is built in said modular cabin unit 1. The latter represents a lavatory module, kitchen module, sleeper module (rest compartment) or door element. Decentralised oxygen supply module 2 generates oxygen-enriched air from cabin air using electric power, electrolysis or molecular screen. Said air may be fed to cabin module oxygen inlet 7 via oxygen outlet 13. Proposed method comprises: fitting decentralised unit 1 into module 2; generating oxygen-enriched air from cabin air using electric power, electrolysis or molecular screen; feeding cabin module oxygen inlet 7 via oxygen outlet 13.
