FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention may be used for production of inorganic substances. Proposed method comprises heating fused contaminated phosphorus sludge, combusting and hydrating it. Process is realised in autoclave whereto excess-pressure oxygen is fed after heating phosphorus with said sludge to 60°C. Then, phosphorus pentoxide is absorbed by water to form phosphoric acid while sludge is accumulated in inner chamber.
EFFECT: higher efficiency, production of high-purity phosphoric acid, no losses of P2O5.
