FIELD: power engineering.
SUBSTANCE: method of energy conversion includes conversion of a non-gaseous carrier into a gaseous carrier applying heat energy, development of ascending flows, reverse change of the gaseous carrier at the specified height into the non-gaseous carrier by cooling of the gaseous carrier with the help of a carrying medium, conversion of potential energy of the non-gaseous carrier and using heating of the carrying medium that happens whenever the carrier is cooled down, to make an input with the help of a heat pump into the used heat energy. The device for energy conversion comprises a hollow space for change of aggregate state, a collector for collection of the non-gaseous carrier with a cooling apparatus, a device for energy conversion and a pipeline for heat return. The carrying medium flows through the cooling apparatus and cools down the gaseous carrier, changing it back into the non-gaseous carrier. The pipeline for heat return ensures direction with the help of the heat pump of the carrying medium heated in process of carrier cooling, to an accessory for change of the aggregate state. The system for energy conversion comprises a proposed device for energy conversion and a device made as capable of heat energy production for it.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to increase efficiency of conversion of available heat energy into the desired type of energy.
