FIELD: machine building.

SUBSTANCE: instrument for routine maintenance includes housing with attachment elements to the unit for fixing the housing on plug gas valve, manipulator made in the form of a pin with a holder on the end and arranged in the housing. Housing is composite and includes the flange in-series connected to lower base of the cone by means of welding along inner outline, which is connected by means of welding along larger base to the cylinder edge. The other edge of cylinder is connected by welding to round plate in which two round holes are made. Centres of those holes are located on the line of the plate diameter. Flange is welded along the outline of hole of larger diameter. Cover plate is attached to it by means of screws. Cover plate is equipped with hold-down clamp and sealing ring, through which manipulator pin with the holder provided on the end passes into the housing. Sleeve is welded along the outline of smaller hole of round plate. Hold-down clamp pressing the sealing ring through which additional manipulator passes is attached to it by means of screws. Plug is arranged on the end of this manipulator, which faces the housing.

EFFECT: continuous gas supply to consumers during routine maintenance of gas line without gas cutting-off.
