FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: method involves determination of the number of unipolar parts of molecules of each component of the fuel mixture, where in each component of the fuel mixture heated beforehand by 5-40°C from ambient temperature, polar parts of molecules are activated and aligned according to charge sign through exposure to direct current of 9-24 V using metal electrodes dipped into the component of the fuel mixture, and compatibility of components of the fuel mixture is determined from excess weight of unipolar electrodes.
EFFECT: invention enables to obtain an accurate, simple method of determining compatibility of components of a fuel mixture.
