FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a fuel composition which consists of a light vacuum distillate of masout with 96 vol. % final boiling point of up to 400°C, non-hydrotreated light catalytic cracking gas oil, 8-oxyquinoline, dispersant additive C-40 and hydrotreated diesel fuel. The set of ratios of components used provides a high performance level of the fuel composition while maintaining nominal efficiency of oil refinery equipment without disrupting operation of the equipment.
EFFECT: fuel composition can be used in high-speed diesel ship engines, ship gas turbines and ship boiler units, and can be used all year round, primarily on displacement-type ships.
