FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: rotor of a synchronous electric machine comprises a core, permanent magnets fixed on the core and forming a magnetic system of the rotor, and also a start-up winding made in the form of a hollow cylinder, which is made of current-conducting material and is pressed onto the magnetic system of the rotor. At the same time according to the invention the current-conducting material, from which the hollow cylinder is made, is magnetic and has specific electric resistance within (0.6-1.1) 10-7 Ohm and relative magnetic permeability within 10-50.
EFFECT: invention provides for required start-up parameters of a synchronous electric machine including the level of start-up torque oscillations during direct start-up of synchronous motors from the industrial grid, increased reliability of the damper winding of synchronous generators, due to making of the specified start-up or damper windings in the form of a hollow cylinder from the special alloy, increased efficiency of operation of these windings with simultaneous provision of high manufacturability of rotors.
