FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to making curved glass which can be used in aircraft. At least two glass workpieces are put onto a bow-type shaping surface. Before placing the workpieces, an underlying glass workpiece is placed on the shaping surface, on the top surface of which there is a current-conducting coating with electrical resistivity of 15-20 ohm/□ . The workpieces are then heated in a furnace to glass softening temperature, followed by bending under gravity.
EFFECT: reduced optical defects.
