SUBSTANCE: first data displayed on a diagram of QAM signals are transmitted during initial transmission. Second data, which are first data recorded in reverse order and displayed on the diagram of QAM signals, are transmitted during retransmission. In one version of the invention, interleaved data are partially permuted according to a given permutation scheme. In another version, N bits of interleaved first and second data are multiplexed, where N is a whole number greater than 1. Higher reliability of initial transmission or retransmission in a wireless communication system can therefore be achieved.
EFFECT: high noise-immunity.
