SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, psychotherapy and can be aimed at facilitating memories about real psychotraumatic events. In order to achieve psychoemotional relaxcation patient is suggested to take convenient, relaxed pose and concentrate on sensations of internal calmness, heaviness in arms. Readiness of patient to reproduce conceptions is estimated by amplitude and rate of onset of ideomotor reaction of pendulum movement in their hand. After successful realisation of said task, directed visualisation of memories, directly connected with circumstances which earlier caused stress reaction is started. To activate memories patient is suggested to imagine a white screen and mentally travel to the day, when the accident happened, to try to superpose obtained visual memories on shown white screen, holding attention on the events which present interest and imagining focus of attention as videocamera lens, selectively directed outwards at situation which surrounds patient or at their sensations and feelings, connected with the event which is studied.

EFFECT: method makes it possible to achieve activation of memories and increase the degree of readiness of tested person to reproduction of conceptions, related to the event which they experienced.
