FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to dentistry and traumatology and can be applied for treatment of fractures of lower and/or upper jaws in different conditions, including in hospital, in field conditions for patients of different age groups and children. System of immobilisation in case of jaw fractures contains for one damaged jaw, at least, one strip splint from rigid material, perforated with many transversally oriented fissure openings, and fastening elements. Fastening element represents belt with lock on one end for fastening in it of free end of belt and is made with possibility of fiation of splint part on dentition by strainer of flexible belt around tooth through fissure openings in strip splint with placement of lock on frontal side of strip splint, and belt loop transversally to strip splint. Lock is made additionally in form of means for fastening of external suspension. Group of inventions also contains method of immobilisation in case of jaw fractures, perforated strip splint and fastening element.

EFFECT: creation of simple reliable technique of fast splinting in case of fracture of lower and/or upper jaws without traumas and infection of gums, universality of application, ensuring simplicity of system, construction, reduction of manufacturing cost, increase of ease, convenience, safety and quick action of splint and fastening element.
