SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to dentistry and maxillofacial surgery, and is intended for use in the rehabilitation of patients with fractures of the lower jaw. As a tooth splinting device, 4 separately taken self-ligating brackets with bidirectional hooks are used, which are installed vertically on the upper jaw in the area of each lateral incisor from the vestibular side along the equator with a hook upwards at a distance of 1 mm from the medial edge and in the area of lateral incisor of the lower jaw vertically with vestibular side in the center of the equator, crochet down. The bracket is placed using a dual-curing adhesive composite cement. The bracket is polymerized with a light polymer lamp in the direction of the cutting edge and the pregingival part for 4 seconds. Subsequent intermaxillary fixation is performed using two orthodontic nickel-titanium tension springs 6 mm long on the bidirectional hooks of each bracket separately in the vertical direction.

EFFECT: method allows to immobilize the lower jaw directly on an outpatient appointment while maintaining the mechanical, aesthetic and hygienic qualities.
