SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medical equipment and aims at removal of toxic substances from biological fluids such as whole blood, blood plasma flowing through an extracorporeal circulation system. The device comprises a body an internal volume of which is limited by covers with unions for fluid injection and ejection, as well as a sorption filler. According to the invention, the device comprises separation filters fixed in the body cavity and designed for dividing the sorption filler into layers sequentially arranged between the union for fluid injection and the union for fluid ejection to prevent sorbent particles from passing therethrough, to enable a free passage of blood components and to provide a gap between the divided layers of the sorption filler.

EFFECT: higher sorption effect ensured by the sorbent divided into the layers and created 'fluid bed' environment.
