FIELD: fire-prevention facilities.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to fire-prevention equipment and may be used to extinguish fires with a gas-drop jet. In a barrel pump comprising an outer tubular casing connected to a sleeve and a nozzle with dispersing holes, an inner casing is fixed coaxially to the outer tubular casing to form a circular supply channel, and the inner casing represents pump, gas and explosive chambers, the latter of which is equipped with gas-supplying tie-ins with a spark plug and communicates with the gas chamber via perforations in a separatory wall, and with the pump chamber it is separated with a spring-loaded piston equipped with a tubular perforated axis with a check valve installed inside the latter. The pump chamber communicates via perforations in the inner casing with the circular supply channel equipped with a check valve. The outlet nozzle of the inner casing and gas-supplying tie-ins are equipped with check valves, and the check-valve of the circular supply channel is made in the form of a rubber ring, a pressing ring and a corrugate circular spring.
EFFECT: invention provides for operation of a portable fire-hose barrel, additionally functioning as a pump and simultaneously as a generator of high-pressure gas to disperse the fire-extinguishing liquid with the capability of long-term supply of the gas-drop jet without recharging for a long period of time.
