FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: air heater includes casing, refractory lining, dome, annular combustion chamber with a burner, chamber with fire-resistant elements filling, and hot air, cold air and flue gas nozzles. At that, the above filling is located at air heater bottom. In lower part of air heater there is annular channel for supply of hot air to hot air nozzle; annular combustion chamber is arranged in lower tier of filling above annular channel and made in the form of a tunnel, cold air nozzle and flue gas nozzle are arranged in upper part of air heater, and hot air nozzle is installed in lower part of air heater and is adjacent to annular channel.
EFFECT: higher air heating efficiency.
