FIELD: metallurgy.

SUBSTANCE: air heater consists of housing with dome equipped with refractory, pre-combustion chamber with refractory that has gas and air collectors. There are through gas and air supply channels in the vertical wall of pre-combustion chamber refractory in the upper and lower rows in horizontal plain. Air and gas collectors for each row of through channels are made as two hollow collectors located outside the pre-combustion chamber and have nozzles installed coaxially the input holes of gas and air supply through channels. Gas and air supply through channels are located in the lower row, their longitudinal axes are directed at an angle 12-85° to pre-combustion chamber radiuses going through the hole centres of these channels at pre-combustion chamber input. Gas and air supply through channels are located in the upper row, they are arranged radially against each other, note that their longitudinal axes coincide with the pre-combustion chamber radiuses. Part of through channels is connected to the upper gas collector, the other part - to the upper air collector.

EFFECT: invention use allows complete gas combustion, reduction of hazardous substances quantity in the atmosphere.
