FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: device which is the part of fuel spray and supply system for cylinder of piston internal combustion engine includes small cyclone to which there tangentially supplied is heated air flow so that stable vortex with high angular velocities is formed; at that, cyclone diameter is smaller in relation to cylinder hole diameter; controlled fuel injector supplying the flow of sprayed fuel to small cyclone in which it is subjected to explosive evaporation and quick mixing; supply channel connecting the small cyclone to inlet channel of the cylinder, in which the vortex fuel-air mixture is mixed with inlet air; and device preventing the overheating of the adjustable fuel injector. According to the second version, the device is the part of fuel spray and supply system for cylinder of piston internal combustion engine and includes the following: small cyclone in which heated air flow is supplied tangentially to form stable vortex with high angular velocities. At that, cyclone diameter is smaller in relation to cylinder hole diameter; controlled fuel injector supplying gaseous fuel flow to small cyclone in which it is subjected to quick mixing; supply channel connecting the small cyclone to cylinder inlet channel in which vortex fuel-air mixture is mixed with inlet air; and device preventing the overheating of controlled fuel injector. Method of fuel-air mixture supply to cylinders of piston internal combustion engine involves the following: tangential supply of heated air flow to small cyclone to form stable vortex in it with high angular velocity; supply of heated sprayed fuel from adjustable fuel injector to small cyclone in which it is subjected to explosive evaporation and quick mixing; and supply of vortex fuel-air flow by means of supply channel to inlet channel of the cylinder, in which vortex fuel-air mixture is mixed with heated inlet air.
EFFECT: improving the fuel economy of piston internal combustion engines, providing complete fuel mixing with inlet air flow, and providing the device of light modification of existing types of engines.
