FIELD: engine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention consists in that the engine comprises an external combustion chamber connected by means of a channel with a cylinder, a regenerator, an injector and an incandescent plug. External combustion chamber and part of connecting channel are located in regenerator, at that regenerator is installed on exhaust manifold. Outlet part of connecting channel has internal screw grooves to provide gas swirling. In version 2 inlet valve is installed in external combustion chamber. In version 3 the outlet header is connected to the external combustion chamber, and the outlet valve is installed in the external combustion chamber. As a result of separation of the external combustion chamber from the cylinder and its installation in the regenerator, the trajectory of the fuel-air mixture movement increases, hence, completeness of combustion is increased. Fuel consumption is reduced, environmental factors are improved, and also due to strong heating of combustion chamber there is more intensive expansion of gases, fuel ignition is accelerated and fuel quality requirement is reduced, due to which it becomes possible to use different types of fuel.
EFFECT: increase of power and improvement of ecological parameters of four-cycle diesel engine due to arrangement of intensive mixture formation and increase of combustion duration.
