SUBSTANCE: invention relates to agriculture, in particular, to methods for feeding broiler chickens. The method involves feeding a basic fodder mixture to broiler chickens during the 1 - 42 days age period wherein10 - 15 wt % are replaced with a sapropel-based grown fodder additive, the mixture containing herbage, grain remains, sprout rootage and sapropel. The sapropel used originates from the Omsk Region.

EFFECT: invention implementation enables reduction of the fodder cost without detriment to broiler chickens live weight gain and livestock preservation, reduction of end products production costs, increase of profit and rate of return.
